Proceedings of Solar Conference & Exhibition (SolarTR) 2014

It has been long time to prepare this proceeding after gathering for the SOLARTR 2014 Conference and Exhibition in İzmir on November 19-21. The event was very successful and fruitful in many aspects. First, more than 400 participants from 17 different countries worldwide were actively present, indicating that the conference attracted great attention in international arena. Second, the scientific and advisory board of 155 members from 45 countries provided great dissemination of the conference’s news. Throughout the conference, coordination sessions for representatives from public sector, industry and private sector working on solar energy field took place as well. The comprehensive trainings provided under different topics including legislation, implementation and technologies of solar energy. Investors, young researchers, architects and engineers demonstrated great interest in all of these trainings offered by national and international trainers tackling solutions of common problems in solar energy sector. The last but not the least, a forum entitled “Solar Energy and Youth” was organized by the university students during the conference..
