Resist

Having been rescued, Remade, and returned to Freedom, Theron faces a life without None. Though he's chosen to be a healer, he can't seem to heal himself of his heartbreak. Not even the endless pleasures and vices Freedom offers can dull the pain of losing the only girl he's ever loved. The peace he so desperately needs seems impossible to find.

Then he meets Catcher, who becomes a friend and a mentor and who teaches Theron about the dark truths behind Freedom's Batcher program—and about a growing rebellion known as "the Rise."

Theron's quest for peace and healing is further complicated when he falls in love with a captured rebel named Pua. He must choose: Freedom and its easy pleasures, or a life that is truly free but full of hardships and sacrifice.
